Canadian-born actor Chris Potter has been winning praise and wowing fans since he first appeared on stage. Since then he has appeared in a variety roles on television and in film, including lead roles on CBC's Material World, Warner Brother's Kung Fu:The Legend Continues, USANetwork's Silk Stalkings, and Showtime's Queer as Folk. Chris also gave voice to "Gambit" for three seasons of the Fox cartoon series The X-Men. CP's guest appearances on other shows include The Outer Limits, Will & Grace, and Lonesome Dove:The Outlaw Years, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, One Tree Hill, and Trump Unauthorized. His film credits include The Waiting Game, Arachnid, The Shrink Is In, Rush Of Fear, A Wrinkle In Time, Right Hook: A Tall Tail, Spymate, The Pacifier, and Rockets Red Glare, among others. His performance in Rockets Red Glare earned him the New York Independent Film Festival's Best Actor Award. A talented musician and hockey player, CP's CD Tourmaline is popular with fans and he frequently donates his time to the All-Stars' Celebrity NHL Alumni charity hockey games. He last appeared in a U.S. weekly series on Lifetime television's Wild Card.
